Abstract

At Kastron, a location to the east of the village of Ano Nestorion in Kastoria, a mosaic floor was discovered during earthworks in the opening of a road. The brief archaeological investigation that followed revealed remnants of a building, which could not be fully appreciated to designate their possible function. The mosaic floor could be dated approximately in the end of the 4th to the mid of the 5th century A.D.
