Abstract
In the present study, we present critical phases and incidents from the use of the drawing activity, as a tool for eliciting and understanding children’s ideas and experiences during the school year 2018-2019. The following presented activities were developed as part of a professional development program focusing on the use of drawing in educational process. Through representative examples, the way teachers used children’s drawings to organize, design and develop classroom curricula, and to promote interaction and communication between children is described.
