Το αειφόρο σχολείο ως όραμα και προοπτική για τη σύγχρονη εκπαίδευση
Abstract
The Sustainable School refers to a dynamic school organization that works as a whole to explore its culture and improve its daily structures in accordance with the vision and philosophy of sustainability. But what exactly does the sustainable school propose? What are its basic principles? What are the main characteristics that capture its philosophy? How is the philosophy of the sustainable school reflected in the daily educational practice? Is the sustainable school different from the ecological and green school and what is the difference between them? How do we evaluate the action and participation of students in such a context and how is the role of teachers perceived? What is the role of everyone involved in the educational process of a school community and what is the relationship formed with the local community? How does the sustainable school encourage the functioning of communities of learning and practice and how does an educational organization transform from a bureaucratic institution of knowledge to a lifelong learning organization?
