Abstract
Social competences for preschool children are related to their all out development. This specific program was an action- research which has taken place in a cooperative learning environment and referred to language and mathematics cognitive fields. The basic goals of the program were, through self evaluation procedures, to get children to develop cooperative and social competences, post knowledge efficiency, to strengthen their self –esteem and learn how to improve their behavior and performance by discussing their actions. Results have indicated that children were led to acquiring cooperative and social competence. Interaction was increased and that was the fact that boosted the positive psychological climate of the class. Finally, due to often action depiction, children’s post knowledge ability was also amplified.
