Περίληψη

Η τεκνοθεσία, ως εν δυνάμει επανορθωτική εμπειρία, προϋποθέτει κατάλληλα προετοιμασμένους γονείς ώστε να ανταποκριθούν στις σύνθετες ψυχοκοινωνικές προκλήσεις της θετής οικογένειας. Εφαλτήριο για τη διεξαγωγή της παρούσας ποιοτικής μελέτης αποτέλεσαν ο Νόμος 4538/2018 που θεσμοθέτησε την εκπαίδευση των υποψηφίων θετών γονέων, η ευρωπαϊκή στρατηγική που προωθεί την οικογενειακού τύπου φροντίδα για τα παιδιά που απομακρύνονται από τις βιολογικές τους οικογένειες, καθώς και η προτεραιότητα που δίνεται σε διεθνές επίπεδο στις πρώιμες παρεμβάσεις ως στρατηγικής πρόληψης και προαγωγής της ψυχικής υγείας. Με το παρόν άρθρο επιδιώκεται να αναδειχθεί η βιωμένη εμπειρία των κοινωνικών λειτουργών που δραστηριοποιούνται στο πεδίο και να αποτυπωθούν οι αντιλήψεις τους σχετικά με τον θεσμό και την προετοιμασία των υποψήφιων θετών γονέων, συνεισφέροντας στο επιστημονικό κενό που καταγράφεται στην εγχώρια βιβλιογραφία και έρευνα. Τα ευρήματα φωτίζουν την πολυδιάστατη φύση της προετοιμασίας, η οποία επισημαίνεται ως διεργασία ενδυνάμωσης και μετασχηματισμού, άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένη με την αξιολόγηση, ενώ αναδύεται η πολυσημία του όρου πρώιμη παρέμβαση. Σχετικά με τα εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, οι επαγγελματίες αναγνωρίζουν ότι η εισαγωγή τους στο θεσμικό πλαίσιο συνιστά ένα από τα θετικά σημεία της νομοθετικής μεταρρύθμισης, ωστόσο επισημαίνεται η ανάγκη για συστηματικότερη πλαισίωση και ενίσχυση των υποστηρικτικών δομών.
