Abstract
Τhe article analyzes the concepts of leadership and management in both public administration and the school environment, comparing various leadership models. Leadership is considered a process of influence leading to the achievement of common goals, while management focuses on coordinated collaboration to achieve objectives through organized processes. In public administration, leadership approaches such as transformational and transactional leadership contribute to efficiency and collaboration, while in education, leadership impacts school effectiveness and teaching quality. Management models, such as centralized and decentralized, have different effects on organizational autonomy and interaction with citizens and educators.
