H απομάγευση του φυσικού κόσμου και η υπόσχεση της ενσυνειδητότητας στο πλαίσιο της παιδαγωγικής πράξης
Abstract
This study attempts to highlight the need to redefine our relationship with the natural world in the context of environmental education through an embodied and spiritual approach. In this article, we will discuss the lost spirituality in our relationship with the rest of the natural world, but also the need to include the body and the spirit in the pedagogical practice. In this path, we will utilize principles and methods of spiritual ecology and contemplative pedagogy. We will present how mindfulness can contribute to the treatment of the disenchantment of the natural world, but also to the ecocentric approach to pedagogical practice. Finally, we will make more tangible the proposal for the integration of mindfulness in environmental education by outlining basic directions that can be a field of pedagogical research and practice focused on the development of embodied, spiritual empathy for the non-human world and the ecocentric repositioning of ourselves in the environment.
