Abstract
Creating a positive classroom climate can positively affect the learning achievements of children, their behavior and their personal development as well. How can we create an ideal learning environment? What are the related factors that constitute it? Is it possible to change a problematic learning environment into an ideal one? In the present study we used an Action Research methodological design in order to assess the classroom climate where the teacher- researcher taught and, as a next step, to implement an intervention designed to improve it.
