Abstract

On the occasion of the recent publication of a book on Gender Studies with texts that underline the historical emergence of related conceptualizations of gender in various disciplines, this paper attempts to initially highlight  a cluster of six concepts and assumptions about gender, reframing the debate from the perspective of a Lacanian-oriented political psychology.
