Η διερεύνηση του ρόλου της πολιτικής χειραγώγησης στο σχολείο Η περίπτωση του Δημοτικού Σχολείου Βυτίνας την περίοδο της Απριλιανής δικτατορίας
Abstract
This article examines the role of political manipulation within the educational system at the Primary School of Vytina during Greece’s Dictatorship of April 1967. Our aim is to analyze the methods and strategies the regime employed to exert control over education, highlighting both the mechanisms and the extent of political manipulation. The research follows a qualitative approach, using the method of constant comparison. Data were collected and analyzed through methodological tools that draw on historical consciousness and public history. Additionally, a post-modern perspective was adopted to interpret the findings. The analysis indicates significant efforts to manipulate both teachers and students through various means. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how education was compromised under the Junta, revealing new dimensions of school life, as well as the experiences of teachers and students during this period.
