P. Kondylis and "Politics"

Βασιλική Γεωργιάδου
Abstract
In this article, we deal, first, with C. Schmitt’s definition of the Political and second, we ask to what extent P. Kondylis adopts the decisionist approach of the German thinker, a well-known scholar of constitutional theory. We maintain that whereas in Schmitt the Political is defined in terms of a concrete arrangement between humans and in accordance with the model of the Enemy-Friend relationship, this relationship in Kondylis refers to an anthropological constant and describes not only the conflicts between individuals but also human relations as a whole.
