Deliberation and e-deliberation: Co-deciding with the citizens
Abstract
This article examines the concepts of deliberation and e-deliberation which are increasingly adopted nowadays as decision making processes in relation to public policies. In this context, there is an attempt to distinguish deliberation from the classic forms of dialogue, to record the dimensions and methods of deliberation processes, to present some results of deliberation, and to make a specific reference to deliberative polls.
