Abstract

The Soteira Lykodemou, the katholikon of a monastery, survived in moderate condition until the revolution during which the dome, part of the vaults and a great portion of the facade and side walls were partially destroyed. It was restored (1884) through partial rebuilding. The drawings of P. Durand, M. G. Bindesbel and L. A. Winstrup enable the reconstruction of the monument. The surviving sections allow for morphological observations.
