Περίληψη
Ο σκοπός αυτής της μελέτης είναι ο καθορισμός των "τιμών αναφοράς" για τις βιοχημικές εκείνες παραμέτρους του αίματος που έχουν ιδιαίτερη διαγνωστική αξία στην καθημερινή κλινική πράξη. Συνολικά προσδιορίστηκαν 23 παράμετροι και συγκεκριμένα οι ολικές πρωτεΐνες, οι λευκωματίνες, οι σφαιρίνες, ο λόγος λευκωματινών/σφαιρινών, το ουρεϊκο άζωτο (BUN), η κρεατινίνη, η γλυκόζη, η χολοστερόλη, τα τριγλυκερίδια, η ολική και η άμεση χολερυθρίνη, η αλκαλική φωσφατάση (ΑΡ), η γ-γλουταμυλοτρανσφεράση (γ-GT), η αλανινοαμινοτρανσφεράση (ALT), η ασπαρτική αμινοτρανσφεράση (AST), η λιπάση, η αμυλάση, η κρεατινική κινάση (CK), η γαλακτική δεΰδρογονάση (LDH), το ασβέστιο (Ca), ο φωσφόρος (Ρ), το κάλιο(Κ) και το νάτριο(Ν8) στον ορό του αίματος 1Θ0 κλινικά υγιών γατών. Τα ζώα αυτά χωρίστηκαν ανάλογα με την ηλικία τους σε δυο ομάδες: η πρώτη περιλάμβανε 50 γάτες ηλικίας μέχρι και 12 μηνών και η δεύτερη ίσο αριθμό ζώων που είχαν ηλικία μεγαλύτερη του ενός χρόνου. Στη συνέχεια υπολογίστηκε ο μέσος όρος, η τυπική απόκλιση, το εΰρος και το διάστημα εμπιστοσύνης για α=5%, τόσο στο σύνολο των γατών όσο και για την κάθε ομάδα χωριστά. Η στατιστική ανάλυση έδειξε ότι υπάρχουν σημαντικές διαφορές μεταξύ των δυο ομάδων ως προς 13 παραμέτρους. Οι "τιμές αναφοράς" που προκύπτουν από την παρούσα εργασία εμφανίζουν τόσο ομοιότητες όσο και διαφορές από αυτές που προτείνονται από τη διεθνή βιβλιογραφία.
