Monumental painting in the Cyclades during the 13th century
Abstract
In this article the author discusses the monumental painting of the Cyclades and especially that of Naxos during the Venetian dominion of the island. The examination includes the iconographic programs of the churches, their dedicatory inscriptions and the local painting workshops.
