Abstract

Despite remaining in the hands of Christians, the Panaghia Mouchliotissa was completely defaced through partial demolitions and additions. A new representation and the photographs of Brunov (1927) guide its reconstruction as a tetraconch domed church with narthex. In addition, light is shed on the names of the founders as well as on the dating of the church in relation to its history during the 13th century.
