Abstract

On the basis of the correlation of new observations on the scant remains of the Megali Panagia with old depictions and information in the excavation daybooks, a graphic reconstruction is proposed for the monument, which was demolished in 1885. The church had four building phases, the most important of which were the Early Christian, the Middle Byzantine and the Post-Byzantine.
