Περίληψη

 Έχει διαπιστωθεί ερευνητικά ότι οι μειονοτικές ομάδες του κοινωνικού συνόλου είναι εκτεθειμένες σε ψυχολογικές πιέσεις και δυσκολίες. Το γεγονός ότι οι ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ μεσήλικες και ηλικιωμένοι αποτελούν μία σεξουαλική μειονότητα, αυξάνει την πιθανότητα να βιώνουν ψυχική δυσφορία. Στόχος της παρούσας μελέτης ήταν η διερεύνηση ψυχολογικών παραγόντων που ενδέχεται να παίζουν ρόλο στην υποκειμενική ευζωία των μεγαλύτερων μελών της ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ κοινότητας, δηλαδή, του σεξουαλικού στίγματος, της μοναξιάς, της αυτοεκτίμησης και του θυμικού. Το δείγμα της έρευνας αποτελούσαν 58 ενήλικες, ηλικίας 35-67 ετών, στους οποίους χορηγήθηκαν διαδικτυακά ερωτηματολόγια αυτo-αναφοράς. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι το επίπεδο των παραγόντων αυτών είναι «φυσιολογικό», με εξαίρεση τη γενική ψυχική υγεία. Οι σχέσεις με τους υπόλοιπους παράγοντες αναδεικνύουν πιθανά τρωτά σημεία που πρέπει να αντιμετωπιστούν, ώστε τα μεγαλύτερα μέλη της ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ κοινότητας στην Ελλάδα να διατηρούν την ψυχική τους υγεία.
